Kieran's career began in 1993 working for the Reuters News Pictures service in London. In 2000 he became staff and remained there until resigning his position to become freelance in 2008.
His images have featured in publications such as Time, Newsweek, Paris Match, National Geographic and The Sunday Times magazine and his work has exhibited in Barcelona, New York, Visa Pour L'Image in Perpignan and The National Portrait Gallery in London and is part of the Royal Household's permanent art collection at Windsor Castle.
Kieran's work has received honours from The British Picture Editor's Guild, Prix de La Photographie Paris, The Press Photographer's Year, The Sports Journalists Association, The Nikon Press Awards and Fuji's European Photographer of the Year Awards.
